Your personal data is used solely to provide our resume-building service — generating documents, storing your profile, and improving our AI suggestions. We never sell your personal information to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit). We use cloud infrastructure with SOC 2 compliance. Access to user data is restricted to essential personnel only.

AI Processing

When you use our AI features (content generation, ATS checking, resume enhancement), your resume text is processed by our AI models. This data is not used to train models and is not retained after processing is complete.

Third-Party Services

We use Google and LinkedIn for authentication. When you sign in, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from these providers. We do not access your contacts, posts, or other social data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies to understand how our service is used. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

Data Retention

Your profile and resume data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Generated PDFs are not stored on our servers after download.

Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, export your data, request deletion of your account, and opt out of non-essential data processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children's Privacy

Freshers Resume is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover such data has been collected, it will be deleted immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
